電車（でんしゃ）が見（み）られるカフェ　Café where you can see the trains

前回ぜんかいは、富士山ふじさんと五重塔ごじゅうのとうと桜さくらが見みられる新倉山浅間公園あらくらやませんげんこうえんを紹介しょうかいしました。

Last time, I introduced you to Arakurayama Sengenkouen, where you can see Mt. Fuji, the five-storied pagoda, and the cherry blossoms.

その公園こうえんから一番いちばん近ちかい駅えきは、富士ふじ急行線きゅうこうの「下吉田駅しもよしだえき」です。

The closest station to the park is Shimoyoshida Station on the Fuji Express Line.

「下吉田駅しもよしだえき」は、暖簾のれんがかかっていてレトロ風ふうのきれいな駅えきでした。

“Shimoyoshida Station” was a beautiful retro-style station with goodwill on it.

この駅えきには、鉄道てつどうファンが喜よろこぶブルートレインテラスという施設しせつがあり、「ふじ」の愛称あいしょうで知しられていた寝台特急しんだいとっきゅうブルートレインが展示てんじしてあります。オレンジと緑色みどりいろの169系けいの電車でんしゃと踏切ふみきりも展示てんじされていて、子供達こどもたちは大喜おおよろこびでした。桜さくらより電車でんしゃの方ほうが、子供達こどもたちにはよかったようです。

At this station, there is a facility called the Blue Train Terrace, which delights railroad fans. You can see the sleeper limited express Blue Train that nicknamed “Fuji” . The orange and green Line 169 series and railroad crossings were made my kids happy. My kids seemed to enjoy playing on the train rather than watching the cherry blossoms.

この施設しせつを見みたければ、改札口かいさつぐちで入場料にゅうりょうじょうを払はらえば、このブルートレインテラスのエリアに入はいることができます。改札口かいさつぐちを挟はさんで反対側はんたいがわには、電車でんしゃに富士山ふじさんのキャラクターが描かかれている富士ふじ急行線きゅうこうせんのフジサン特急とっきゅうや貨車かしゃも停とまっていました。フジサン特急とっきゅうの隣となりには、トーマス列車れっしゃがあり、トーマス列車れっしゃの中なかだけには入はいることができました。

If you want to see this facility, you can enter this Blue Train Terrace area by paying the entrance fee at the ticket gate. On the other side of the ticket gate, there were also a Fujisan Limited Express and a freight car. Mt. Fuji Characters were drawn on the side of Fujisan Limited Express. Next to the Fujisan Limited Express, there was a Thomas train, and it allowed to enter only inside of it.

私わたしたちは、桜さくらを見みに行った後あとで、立たちっぱなしで足あしが疲つかれていて、少すこし休憩きゅうけいがしたかったです。駅えきのすぐ横よこにある「下吉田しもよしだ倶楽部くらぶ」というカフェでお茶おちゃをしました。

After we went to see the cherry blossoms, we were tired from standing for a long time, so we wanted to take a break. We had tea at the cafe called “Shimoyoshida Club” right next to the station.

私わたしたちが行いった時間じかんは、カフェメニューしかなく、お茶ちゃしかできませんでしたが、食たべ物ものの看板かんばんもあったので、時間帯じかんたいによっては、ごはんも食たべることもできそうです。私わたしは「富士山ふじさん溶岩ようがん焙煎ばいせん珈琲コーヒー」をいただきました。電車でんしゃを見みながら、コーヒーを飲のむのも素敵すてきな時間じかんでした。

It service only tea menu when we visited there, however, I am sure that they service regural food menu because I saw the menu. I chose “Mt. Fuji lava roast coffee”. I had a wonderful time to drink coffee while watching the train.

富士吉田市ふじよしだしの名物めいぶつの一ひとつの「あげかま（あげかまぼこ）」のタコも食たべましたが、とてもおいしかったです。（「あげかま」は、写真しゃしんを撮とるのを忘わすれて、食たべてしまいました。）

I also ate “Agekama”( deep-fried kamaboko, kamaboko is boied fish paste) with octopus that is one of famous food for Fujiyoshida city. It was very delicious. (I forgot to take a picture of “Agekama” before eat.)

カフェからもブルートレインテラスに行いくことができたので、私たちはお茶ちゃをした後あとに、電車でんしゃを見みに行いきました。カフェにはテラスもあって、天気てんきがいい日ひは、テラスから電車でんしゃを見みるのも良よさそうです。

We were able to go to the Blue Train Terrace from “Shimoyoshida Club”, so we saw the trains after the break. There is also a terrace, so it’s a good idea to watch the train while having a cup of tea on a sunny day.

息子むすこたちは、電車でんしゃが大好だいすきな「鉄男てつおくん」です。子供達こどもの影響えいきょうを受うけ、私わたしも最近さいきんはかなり「鉄子てつこさん」になってきました。私わたしたちが行いった時ときは、トーマス列車れっしゃの中には、誰だれもいなかったので、運転席うんてんせきで長ながい間あいだ、運転うんてんすることもできました。トーマスやパーシーと一緒いっしょに写真しゃしんを撮とったりすることもできました。

My sons are “Tetsuo-kun”. A man who loves trains is called “Tetsuo-kun”. Under the influence of children, I have recently become a little “Tetsuko-san”. A woman who likes trains is called “Tetsuko-san”. (Tetsu came from Tetsudoo (railroad). When we went there, no one in Thomas train, so we could drive in the driver’s seat for a long time. I was also able to take pictures with Thomas and Percy.
